victoria’s secret
This is my own re-branding concept I have created for Victoria’s Secret, which focuses on authenticity while maintaining the glam & nostalgia of the brand. Like many women, I grew up with Victoria’s Secret and looked up to many of the VS Angels. Appearances aside, I remember I was much more captivated by who these women were and how they got to this place in their life, rather than their obvious traditional beauty. I read a GQ interview wit Adriana Lima on how she wanted to become a paediatrician before she ever got scouted for modelling, and this taught me that being feminine meant more than just being physically beautiful. The OG Angels have become the face of the VS brand for decades, and I feel that these women deserve a chance to share their lives with us outside of the modelling world, which in turn, can help shift VS into a more energetic, creative, fun & lively brand identity which many young women have been craving for them to do in recent years. We can lean into a relatable & ‘down to earth’ vibe with whimsical & nostalgic visuals, pulling inspiration from Lana Del Rey, Suki Waterhouse, and Sofia Coppola.
